Red means stop.
Monday, February 5th, 2007 I’m so tired of doing the same things
everyday and doing them just for the sake of maintaining that routine i never
needed and wanted anyway. I want to do things on my own without anyone or
anything pressuring me. I’m sick of always worrying about what to do next, how
I’m going to do it, or will it be good enough. Life if so short, too short to
be wasted upon with trivial things that actually need not dwelling upon.
C’mon,,,life is worth something more than that. "Living" is not
simply existing as a breathing entity, but experiencing a whirlpool of feelings
and emotions brought about by unexpected coincidences. Why worry about failing
Chem26.1, why worry about gaining a few pounds, why worry about not being able
to see your crush, when there are much more important things like missing your
little brother’s math quiz bee
or not being able to attend mass on Sundays? …Valuing life is
giving due respect to the Creator. He wants us to enjoy what he’s given us.
Grasp the moments. Don’t let life pass you by because when "that
time" comes, as it surely, eventually will, you won’t have another go at
it. No more second takes, no more reruns, no more replays. It’s just a
stoplight that’s emanating the color red. And red means stop.
